Don’t Forget The Baby Boomers


Had enough of millennials? Blue chip brands like T-Mobile and Mercedes are setting their sights on an overlooked (at least by advertisers) demographic: Baby Boomers. As big as Millennials — and with considerably more discretionary income — boomers are enjoying a new moment back in the marketing spotlight. In the words of one brand marketing expert: “While the millennials are sharing stuff, boomers are buying stuff and if you are a brand, you are in business to make money — a tweet or share or laugh online doesn’t translate into actual bottom-line dollars.”
